| Essentially for now I'm going with the best picture frontrunners that are original screenplays. Right now I'm hoping that Christopher and Jonathan Nolan will finally win an Oscar for their brilliant writing in Inception that they deserved for Memento and Dark Knight. And normally I would throw the Pixar film among the nominees, but I don't have the faith in Toy Story 3 to make it that far this year. |

Right now I'm betting on Aaron Sorkin's anticipated screenplay based on the creation of facebook in The Social Network. Plus I'm throwing in the Coen Brothers since they get nominated for practically every screenplay. Plus a bunch of other best picture contenders. And I'm not ruling out Shutter Island yet since it could make another surge at the end of the year.
